The Maryland Wesleyan Holiness Church in Jamaica is an evangelical, Protestant denomination. We offer the good news that faith in Jesus Christ makes possible a wonderful personal relationship with God, a holy life empowered by his Spirit for witness and service, and assurance of eternal life in heaven. Our ministries emphasize practical Bible teaching, uplifting worship, and special programs to meet a variety of life needs. Headquartered in Golden Grove, Antigua, The Wesleyan Holiness Church has a presence in eighteen islands in the Caribbean, and in Belize, Central America. The church resulted from an April 1974 merger of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of America and the Pilgrim Holiness Church in the Caribbean. Our roots are firmly planted in John Wesley's Methodism.
